Multimap Map Car: Off the A612 Nottingham to Newark road. Train: head for Thurgarton railway station on the Nottingham to Lincoln line. There aren't many (you'll have two to five hours to wait if you miss one) but it's only a 17 minute ride, and the station is very close to the gravel pits. Bus: Pathfinder service 103 (infrequent)
