The Nottingham RSPB Local Group

We hold indoor meetings at The New Mechanics Institute, North Sherwood Street, Nottingham [ Google Map - Car Parking ] starting at 7:30 p.m., generally on the first Wednesday in the month (September to May). Admission is £1.50 for adults and 75p for juniors; non-members are welcome. Tea and coffee is available, nest boxes and a selection of bird food as well as R.S.P.B. sale goods are on sale. In the Summer, these are replaced by evening walks.

We also run monthly field trips throughout the year, as well as beginners walks, Nightjar watches and a birding weekend. Every type of birdwatcher is catered for from the first timer to the expert, everyone is made welcome. However, please be aware that trips are not suitable for children under the age of seven.

The group also produces a quarterly newsletter, to keep the members up to date with what's happening.
