Two miles north of Retford, which is in the north of Nottinghamshire.

Car: head to Lound village, and then follow Chainbridge Lane for 2KM, watching all the time.
Bus: from Bawtry (Church Street), Retford Bus Station, and Worksop (Hardy Street) to Lound Village crossroads (Chainbridge Lane).

Facilities
Public viewing platform on Chainbridge Lane. Open all year round, but please use public rights of way only.

Environment
Working sand/gravel pits, naturalised. Large areas of recently designated SSSI reedbeds, fishing ponds, river valley, disused fly ash tanks, farmland, scrub.

What to see
Waterfowl, waders, gulls and terns, raptors.
