It's starting to get colder now and the birds rely on us to look after them by putting out food, such as bacon rind (cut into small pieces) cheese, suet etc. or buying seed and nuts. They also need water to drink, and to bathe in.

They usually arrive in the morning to store energy for the day and then at tea time to feed before roosting. So keep the feeders topped up. It's fun watching the comings and goings, so enjoy your birds.
